Fatih Altaylı reacts to 'Vedat Milor' investigation! 'The government is increasingly...'
Journalist Fatih Altaylı criticized the investigation launched against food critic Vedat Milor. Altaylı described the government's actions as a "comedy." While criticizing the fact that the investigation was conducted by the Ministry of Trade rather than judicial authorities, Altaylı noted that no investigations were opened against other individuals who engage in similar behavior.

Journalist Fatih Altaylı reacted to the launch of an investigation into food critic Vedat Milor, who visited the Üsküdar City Restaurant (Kent Lokantası) and shared a video of the experience, stating, "I don't know if our government is aware, but they are increasingly turning into a comedic element. But they should know that they are not funny at all, not even a little bit."
In the section titled "Give me a break" in his column today, Fatih Altaylı wrote the following:
"Oh, come on now.
The Ministry of Trade has launched an investigation into Vedat Milor, who ate at a City Restaurant in Istanbul and shared his experience, and has requested a defense from him.
Fortunately, the prosecutor's office is not involved for now.
The fact that the investigation is at the Ministry of Trade and not at the courthouse is our only consolation.
Otherwise, they could have taken him from his home in handcuffs, brought him to the courthouse, and decided to try him while in custody.
They didn't do that; they launched an investigation for covert advertising.
If such a crime exists.
Then open investigations for overt advertising against those who board the Presidential plane and travel the world.
They also promote the government's lies and misinformation without writing 'collaboration' or anything similar under their articles.
Is the reason you don't open investigations against them because no one takes them seriously and they have no influence, or is it because praising the government's mistakes is free, while writing about the opposition's truths is forbidden!
I don't know if our government is aware, but they are increasingly turning into a comedic element.
But they should know that they are not funny at all, not even a little bit."
