A cleaning staff member at a high school in the Kuşadası district of Aydın, who allegedly placed a hidden camera in the girls' restroom, reportedly locked the students in the restroom and fled after realizing he was about to be caught.

In an incident that took place at the Aydın-Kuşadası Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, female students discovered a hidden camera in the restroom. The students wanted to report the situation to the assistant principal.

According to allegations, the school's cleaning staff member tried to take the camera from the students' hands. It is claimed that the cleaning staff member, who allegedly locked the students in the girls' restroom as they insisted on delivering the camera to the assistant principal, then got on a bicycle and disappeared. Police teams arriving at the scene seized the camera and evacuated the school.
The cleaning staff member, who had disappeared, was caught by police teams and taken into custody. It was learned that the cleaning staff member's processing at the police station is ongoing.
