Nureddin Nebati curses at comments regarding his 'scientific board membership'
Former Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati, who did not remain indifferent to posts made about him on social media, cursed at the comments regarding his scientific board membership.

Nureddin Nebati’s membership on the scientific board of the Prof. Dr. Sadettin Ökten Urban Thought Center, which was established within the Istanbul Esenler Municipality in 2012, became a subject of debate on social media.
Nebati, who was the subject of numerous posts regarding his scientific board membership, told a user who posted on his social media account, "May God damn you," and added, "I am a scientist."
Nebati wrote the following:
“May God Almighty damn you. Drown in your lies. From whom, when, and where have I ever received a fee? I am a scientist.
Why does it bother you that I am on a scientific board that has been doing wonderful work since 2012 and providing academic contributions to urbanism and urbanization policies?
Moreover, I am someone who has done this work not for any fee, but on the contrary, completely for free as a form of 'zakat' (charity) of our intellect. Is there no limit to immorality?”
Nebati was appointed to the ministry in 2021. Following the election held in May 2023, Nebati was elected as a member of parliament from Mersin and left his seat to Mehmet Şimşek.
