Closed 3 branches! The sparkle of former Minister Nebati has faded
Three branches of the family company belonging to former Treasury and Finance Minister Nurettin Nebati in Istanbul have closed. During his tenure as minister, Nebati had opened 11 new branches.
Former Treasury and Finance Minister Nurettin Nebati drew criticism during his time in office with his remarks, “Look into my eyes. What do you see? The economy is the sparkle in the eyes.”
3 BRANCHES CLOSED
According to a report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün; BG Store Mağazacılık, which belongs to the family of AKP MP Nurettin Nebati, had opened 11 new branches between December 29, 2021, when he was appointed as minister, and April 13, 2022.
According to the commercial records of BG Store Mağazacılık Anonim Şirketi, three of the company's branches in Istanbul have closed. The company, which lowered the shutters of its branch at Maltepe Piazza on September 6, terminated the commercial activities of its branches at Hilltown and Nev Çarşı on October 17 and November 14, respectively.
EXPENSIVE PRICES
BG Store also has a total of 13 branches abroad, including in Russia, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, England, Dubai, and Northern Iraq. At BG Store, where children's clothing is sold, girls' socks are sold for an average of 175 TL, t-shirts for an average of 500 TL, and dresses for an average of 1,250 TL.
