A ceremony held for the start of duty of 6 thousand 992 new police officers and the commissioning of 1 thousand 573 new vehicles took place at Atatürk Airport with the participation of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
HULKİ CEVİZOĞLU LEAVES HIS MARK ON THE COMMEMORATIVE PHOTO
At the end of the ceremony, the actions of AKP Istanbul MP Hulki Cevizoğlu, once a prominent opposition figure, left their mark on the commemorative photo session.
Cevizoğlu, who tried to get into the same frame as Erdoğan, first knelt down. However, despite all his efforts, he could not manage to appear in the same photo as Erdoğan.
The footage of Cevizoğlu captured on camera became a talking point on social media.
NUREDDİN NEBATİ COMES TO MIND
Cevizoğlu's effort to appear next to Erdoğan brought to mind former Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati. During a ceremony, Nebati had also pushed through the crowd from behind to come to the front, managing to get into the frame right by Erdoğan's side. At that time, the way Erdoğan and other AKP members looked at Nebati with disapproval had become a talking point.
