One of the perpetrators of the Khojaly Massacre captured
The State Security Service of Azerbaijan has announced that one of the perpetrators of the Khojaly Massacre, carried out by Armenian forces against Azerbaijanis in 1992, has been captured.

In a statement issued by the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, it was reported that Madat Babayan, one of the perpetrators of the Khojaly Massacre, was captured during the anti-terror operation conducted by the Azerbaijani army in Karabakh on September 19.
The statement noted that during his interrogation, Babayan confessed to participating in the massacre of Azerbaijani civilians in Khojaly and admitted to witnessing acts of desecration of corpses and torture of prisoners.
''HE SHOWED THE GRAVES''
It was also recorded that Babayan made confessions regarding the looting they carried out in Khojaly and pointed out the locations of mass graves of Azerbaijanis they had killed and buried.
In Khojaly, 613 civilians were massacred by Armenian forces on February 26, 1992.
