CHP's Murat Emir reacted to the detention of Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat. Emir used the expression, "They have trampled on the law." expressions.

Emir spoke on the subject as follows: 

"Having our Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat and other public officials, who would have come to give a statement the moment they were called, detained in so-called sudden operations, having pre-prepared information notes leaked to the press, and immediately imposing a publication ban afterward is trampling on both the will of the nation and the law. We will not take a step back."
