Suspect detained in connection with Narin's disappearance released

Diyarbakır's Bağlar district, in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, search efforts are continuing at full speed for 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing after leaving a Quran course on August 21. Authorities have mobilized to find the young girl.
SPECIAL TEAMS ON DUTY
According to a report by Halk TV, a team of experts has been formed to address the possibility that Narin is still alive. Additionally, another team experienced in this field has been assigned to investigate the possibility of abduction. It was stated that a special team has arrived in the region to begin operations and that significant work is being conducted regarding digital evidence and intelligence.
BACKGROUND OF THE INCIDENT
Narin Güran went missing in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district on August 21, around 15:00, after leaving a Quran course.
Her family, unable to receive any news from the young girl, applied to the authorities. Following this, 112 Emergency Health, Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK), AFAD, and Dicle University Search and Rescue (DÜAK) teams launched a large-scale search operation.
AFAD diving teams searched an area of approximately 20 kilometers in the irrigation canal. Other search and rescue teams conducted meticulous searches in the vicinity of the neighborhood, rocky areas, cotton and corn fields, abandoned areas, empty houses, barns, and house gardens. Gendarmerie teams also began controlling vehicles entering and exiting the neighborhood.
LATEST UPDATE FROM THE PROVINCIAL GENDARMERIE COMMANDER
Diyarbakır Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Major General Selçuk Yıldırım made the following statements to members of the press:
"We are following up on every kind of tip. The circle has narrowed significantly. The state has provided us with all its resources, and we are using them. I believe there is very little time left.
We have evidence, we have statements. We have recorded Narin's movements in the village minute by minute. We are working based on the evidence; we are very close to a result. We inevitably view the incident as a judicial case. We are evaluating all possibilities. We are evaluating every possibility that we cannot disclose to you. The search is a much larger-scale search. We have to evaluate even the smallest possibility; we will get results.
I want to find our Narin alive. Our heart's desire is to find her alive. Hearts are wounded; 85 million people are very saddened by this incident. We do not even sleep at night."

DETAINED PERSON RELEASED
On the 8th day of the search efforts for Narin, it was reported that 1 suspect had been detained. The identity of the individual has not yet been disclosed. The detained suspect was released following procedures at the gendarmerie.
