Where is Narin? The home of the imam mentioned in her aunt's claim has also been searched

While all of Turkey has mobilized for Narin, who went missing in the rural area of Diyarbakır's Bağlar district, the anxious wait continues. 

The Güran family's 8-year-old daughter, Narin, went to a Quran course on August 21. The young child has not been seen since. A special team has been established to find the missing Narin. 

While divers have been working in irrigation canals, streams, and reed beds, other teams have scanned rocky areas, fields, vacant houses, and barns, as well as haystacks using underground imaging devices. However, the search efforts, which have been ongoing for a week, have not yielded results. Narin has still not been found. Yesterday, posters featuring Narin's photo and contact information were hung on all public transport buses operating within the city and its districts. 

‘THE HOURS DO NOT ALIGN’

Speaking to Fahrettin Öztürk from Cumhuriyet, Diyarbakır Bar Association President lawyer Nahit Eren stated that they are closely following the investigation and noted that in addition to those whose statements were taken as "persons with information," there are also individuals who have been detained as "suspects." Eren said that because there is a confidentiality order on the investigation file, he cannot provide information regarding how many people have been detained so far. 

Regarding the claim made by Narin's aunt that "there is footage of Narin going to the Quran course, but no footage of her leaving," Eren stated that there is no such information in the file and that the hours of the Quran course do not align with the time Narin went missing. Stating that the course imam's testimony was also sought, Eren noted that many homes, including the imam's, have been searched.
