Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek made important statements on his social media account regarding new regulations for conducting rental agreements via e-Devlet.

Şimşek stated, "We are launching an important practice of a reformative nature. We will enable rental agreements to be made via e-Devlet. We continue to work to reduce bureaucracy and ensure our citizens can carry out their transactions easily and securely."

FINAL STAGES REACHED

The Ministry has completed the necessary work for rental agreements to be prepared securely via the e-Devlet Gateway. This service is expected to be launched for tenants and landlords in the near future. Units of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance have finalized their preparations for rental agreement transactions to be offered via e-Devlet.

TWO-STAGE IMPLEMENTATION

The new system was initiated following requests from citizens regarding the resolution of disputes related to rental agreements. The first stage will be carried out through the approval of the tenant for contracts prepared by individual property owners via the e-Devlet Gateway.

BARCODED DOCUMENT ERA BEGINS

The second stage of the service will be made available by the end of the year. In this stage, real estate consultants and authorized persons will be able to prepare contracts and submit them for the approval of the property owner and the tenant. Rental agreements will be generated as time-stamped "barcoded documents," and document verification will be possible.
