The red Honda Prelude car that the artist Barış Manço used while in Belgium has been found by his son, Doğukan Manço, in a garage in Belgium after many years.

Manço, who has been working for many years to bring the car to Turkey, took the car from the garage and moved it to a warehouse with the support of the company's Belgium Director Mehmet Günaydın and his team, and began preparations for it to be brought to Turkey.

Following a post on his social media account by Doğukan Manço, in which he wrote that the garage where the car was kept had been flooded during his last trip to Belgium and that the car had been submerged, Barsan Lojistik stepped in.

THE VEHICLE WILL BE BROUGHT TO TURKEY

Stating that he will meet with the Mayor of Liège, Belgium, and the Belgian Ministry of Finance in the coming days regarding bringing the vehicle to Turkey, Doğukan Manço announced that all procedures except for a few official documents have been completed and that the vehicle will soon be brought to Turkey to be exhibited.

'OUR HEARTS ACHED'

Doğukan Manço said, "All that remains to bring the vehicle to Turkey is for the Customs Directorate to accept my petition. We are waiting with excitement. Unfortunately, the vehicle has been damaged to an unbelievable degree. When my brother and I first saw the vehicle, our hearts ached. However, when it arrives, I will prepare that vehicle as if it just came out of the factory. The vehicle will be brought to Turkey with special permission solely for exhibition purposes so that Barış Manço fans can see it."
