25 years since his passing: Barış Manço to be commemorated in Kadıköy

One of the doyens of Anatolian Rock music; singer, composer, and songwriter Barış Manço will be commemorated on the 25th anniversary of his passing with an event organized by Kadıköy Municipality.

The "We Remember Barış Manço with Love" memorial program will be held on Thursday evening, February 1, at 20:00 at the Caddebostan Cultural Center.

In the program, artists such as Musa Göçmen, Ayşegül Aldinç, Cahit Berkay, Eda Baba, Ezgi Aktan, Ogün Sanlısoy, and Yasemin Mori will perform Barış Manço songs.

HIS HOME WILL BE OPEN FOR VISITS

Barış Manço's home in Moda will also be open to visitors as part of the memorial program until 24:00 today, and until 17:00 on Thursday, February 1.

The house, which contains Barış Manço's personal belongings, can be visited free of charge.
