Elderly woman who lost her life in flood disaster laid to rest
Nurten Sivritaş (79), who lost her life after being swept away by floodwaters during the weekend flood disaster in the Söke district of Aydın, has been laid to rest.

Nurten Sivritaş, 79, lost her life after being swept away by floodwaters during the flood disaster that occurred over the weekend in the Söke district of Aydın.
The elderly woman was laid to rest at the Granta cemetery following the noon prayer held at the Hacılar Mosque.
Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu arrived at the mosque before the funeral ceremony to personally convey her condolences to Nurten Sivritaş's family.
The funeral ceremony, held after the noon prayer at the Hacılar Mosque, was attended by Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat, Aydın Provincial Police Chief Mehmet Suat Ekici, Söke Mayor Dr. Mustafa İberya Arıkan, Deputy Mayor Mehmet Arif Ceylan, as well as the family's relatives and citizens.
As is known, Hacer Alptekin and Erhan Kavaklıçay, who also lost their lives in the flood, were laid to rest yesterday. Search efforts for the missing Ali Alptekin continue in the region.
