Author Eylem Tok fled to Egypt with her son T.C., who caused the death of one person while driving a luxury vehicle without a license.

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that a red notice would be issued for T.C. and Tok.

Speaking to Star Ana Haber, Eylem Tok made controversial statements.

Tok used the following expressions:

"This is an accident, there is no kidnapping. There is a brilliant 17-year-old child, and I am a mother. I would do it again today; I don't know the injured, I don't know who they are. I have to protect him. Even when I went there, I never fully arrived in the literal sense. When I went, the children were there, I took the children.

I took them to the site where they were. There is nothing for me to run away from. I am saying that there is a hot topic at hand, the families are burning, there is a great fire. Let it cool down a bit, let there not be blood for blood."

Responding to the question of when she would return, Tok said:

"I can return at any moment, I can return right now. I just want my child to be safe and to be tried fairly. Let the country tell me, 'there will be no blood for blood, we will not do anything against the child.' Justice will be served."
