MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız, in a statement made at the MHP Headquarters, said that the process that began on October 26, 2023, to discuss the principles of the cooperation to be established between the AKP and MHP, has concluded with the 13th meeting held today.
Emphasizing that the issues were handled with the principle of "my country and my nation first," as always, and were carried out in full consensus and harmony within the framework of mutual understanding and good faith, Yıldız stated the following:
"As a result of the negotiations, it has been decided to cooperate in 30 metropolitan municipalities, to support MHP Metropolitan Mayoral candidates in Mersin and Manisa among these cities, and to support AK Party Metropolitan Mayoral candidates in the remaining 28 metropolitan municipalities.
It has been decided that both parties will participate in the elections with their own separate candidates in 22 of the 51 provinces that do not have metropolitan status, and that they will cooperate in the remaining 29 provincial centers.
Due to their historical significance, it was deemed appropriate to support the AK Party candidate in Ahlat and the MHP candidate in Söğüt."
