From where to where! AKP member Hatipoğlu's company breaks profit record

The Europen company, on whose board of directors Nebi Hatipoğlu sits after resigning from the İYİ Party and joining the ranks of the AKP, saw its profit in just the first nine months of 2023 exceed the profit earned in the entirety of 2022. 

According to the report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün; the company, which declared a profit of 427 million 395 thousand 642 TL in 2022, recorded a net profit of 705 million 948 thousand 323 TL for the January-September period of 2023.

Some items from the company's reviewed financial statements for the January-September 2023 period are listed as follows:

• Revenue: 2 billion 310 million 903 thousand TL

• Cost of Sales: 1 billion 808 million 235 thousand TL

• Gross Profit: 502 million 667 thousand TL

• Total Equity: 2 billion 577 million 675 thousand TL

• Total Resources: 4 billion 519 million 694 thousand TL

It was also reported that the capital of Europen Endüstri İnşaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, on whose board of directors AKP member Hatipoğlu serves, reached 760 million TL as of December 2023, a 20-fold increase from its 36.9 million TL capital in July 2017. It was learned that the net profit of Hatipoğlu's company, Europen, for the January-September 2023 period exceeded 700 million TL.

The striking increase in the capital of Europen Endüstri İnşaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş draws attention. The changes in the company's capital, which was 36 million 900 thousand TL on July 3, 2017, are recorded by period as follows:

March 27, 2018: 55 million TL

July 7, 2022: 675 million TL

December 9, 2022: 760 million TL
