The amount of state aid to be provided to political parties from the Treasury has been clarified. According to the 2024 budget bill data, 3 billion 341 million liras in state aid will be provided next year to 5 political parties that exceeded the 7 percent threshold.

Since local elections will also be held next year, the aid will be doubled and paid as 6 billion 682 million liras.

ONE-TIME PAYMENT TO BE MADE TO PENSIONERS

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that they would give a one-time payment of 5,000 TL only to non-working pensioners regarding the long-awaited pension raise, and had implemented a 25 percent raise for SSK, Bağ-Kur, and civil servant pensioners in July 2023.

While this one-time payment continues to be heavily criticized, Cemal Enginyurt pointed to the Treasury aid that parties will receive in his post and slammed the government over the salaries of pensioners, civil servants, and workers.

ENGİNYURT CRITICIZED

Reminding of the money paid to 5 political parties from the Treasury on his Twitter (X) account, Cemal Enginyurt posted, "When it comes to its people, it does not give a salary raise saying inflation is rising. Damn your justice, SHAME on you."
