Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu spoke at his party's group meeting. Karamollaoğlu stated the following:

"I greet all members of the Future and Saadet parties, especially Mr. Davutoğlu, with respect. We are going through a very different period. We have not faced such a scene for many years. However, we are facing a painful situation.

It is our duty to share our solutions to the problems we are experiencing today with the public. We consider it a duty to stand by the oppressed Palestinians.

Those who have turned Gaza into an open-air prison for years have taken action to eliminate it, drawing strength from the silence. Our friends tried very hard to enter Gaza, but unfortunately, it was not possible. Turkey's members of parliament want to enter Gaza but cannot.

Those who have forgotten 1967 have now stood up and are proposing the evacuation of Gaza as a solution. For us, this cannot even be brought to the agenda. Proposing this is treason. This is nothing more than saying 'let's give up on Cyprus, let's make Israel even bigger, and let's leave the Al-Aqsa Mosque without protection.' We have rejected this from the root and will continue to reject it.

No one will give credence to the words of those who cannot establish justice in their own country when they speak against injustices experienced in other countries.

If you arrest journalists just for doing journalism, no one will take your words seriously.

Even if everyone else gives up on this cause, we will absolutely not give up!"
