Mustafa Varank reacts to lieutenants' oath-taking ceremony: 'A person in uniform cannot chant slogans'

AKP Bursa Deputy Mustafa Varank made harsh criticisms of the CHP by quoting a speech made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel regarding the young lieutenants on his social media account. Claiming that the CHP longs for the era of tutelage, Varank accused the CHP of trying to return to the tutelary mindset of the old Turkey.

'CANNOT ORGANIZE A PIRATE OATH-TAKING CEREMONY'

Making statements regarding the young lieutenants' oath-taking ceremony, Varank said, "There is no need to mince words; the military institution requires rules and discipline. Regardless of the content, a person in uniform cannot chant slogans or organize a pirate oath-taking ceremony."

In his statement on social media, Varank accused the CHP of being on the same side as those who called the heroic soldiers "the dogs of Mustafa Kemal," describing this situation as "hypocrisy." Stating that CHP officials are trying to bring the glorious Turkish army to the agenda with tutelary longings, Varank claimed that they know the true intention behind this attitude.

'WE WILL CONTINUE THE STRUGGLE'

Regarding Dilruba Kayserilioğlu, who was arrested and later released due to statements she made in a street interview, Varank said, "We will continue to fight in every field against those who try to return Turkey to its days of tutelage, those who protect those who insult our President, and those who make guests of honor and crown those who call the people who voted for him 'idiots'."

''When you scratch the paint of the CHP just a little, the longing they feel for the era of tutelage immediately emerges.

Let the CHP officials, who have taken on the guardianship of the images of old Turkey that have occurred in just the last few weeks, know well that;
