Belgium-Sweden match suspended due to terror attack

The Belgium-Sweden match in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying Group F was abandoned due to a terror incident.

The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw at halftime, did not resume for the second half as players refused to return to the pitch following armed attacks in the vicinity of the stadium.

It was learned that the 2 people who lost their lives in the attack were Swedish citizens who had come to watch the match. 

While the match was cancelled, Brussels has been placed on high terror alert.
