Germany announces Israel has requested warship ammunition

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced that Israel has requested ammunition for warships from Germany due to Hamas attacks.

Speaking to reporters ahead of a NATO meeting in Brussels, Pistorius argued that Israel is fighting for its existence and said, "We stand with the Israelis."

Stating that Israel has requested ammunition for warships from Germany, the Minister added that they would provide Israel with 2 unmanned aerial vehicles.

GERMANY BANS HAMAS

Meanwhile, Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced to lawmakers today that he would ban Hamas from operating in Germany. Scholz said that the pro-Palestinian association "Samidoun" would also be banned in Germany following celebrations of "the most brutal acts of terror on open streets" by Palestinian supporters.

In his statement, the Chancellor accused Iran of supporting Hamas, "Without Iran's support over the past few years, Hamas would not have been able to carry out these unprecedented attacks on Israeli soil. The enthusiastic statements from the upper echelons of the Iranian regime and some other government officials in the region are disgusting. The leadership in Tehran is shamelessly showing its true face and confirming its role in Gaza" he added.

WARNING TO HEZBOLLAH

Scholz also warned Hezbollah "not to intervene in the conflicts"; as "this would not only lead to a justified and harsh response from Israel, but would also push Lebanon to the brink of the abyss."

The Chancellor stated that behind the scenes, Germany is working with all its might "in close coordination with Israel" to "ensure the release of all hostages"; and told the German parliament that he had asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to inform Germany of any needs, "such as the treatment of the wounded."
