Republican Senator in the US Lindsey Grahamstated that even though there is no direct evidence of its involvement in the clashes in Israel, the US and Israel want Iran to be bombed.

Senatör Graham spoke to CNN regarding the clashes between Israel and Palestinian groups led by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

Graham was asked,"whether he wants the US and Israel to bomb Iran despite there being no direct evidence of Iran's involvement in the clashes".

Responding to the question with "Yes," Graham, He called for a joint military operation against Iranian infrastructure.

''WE WOULD WIN IF THERE WERE A WAR''

The senator said, "If this war escalates against Israel, I blame Iran. It is time to warn them. They will pay a heavy price. I think we can do all of this. I think if there were a war with Iran, we would win."

Graham added, "If you don't understand the connection between Iran and the terrorist activities of Hamas and Hezbollah, you are missing a lot."

CLAIMS THAT IRAN WAS SURPRISED BY HAMAS' ATTACK ON ISRAEL

In a report by CNN, it was stated that the US had collected specific intelligence data showing that high-level Iranian government officials were "caught off guard" by the attacks Hamas launched against Israel.

The sources cited in the report indicated that because the relevant intelligence data showed Iran was "caught off guard," it cast doubt on claims that "Iran was directly involved in the planning, resourcing, or approval processes" of the attacks.

It was noted that US intelligence units were not yet ready to reach a definitive conclusion regarding whether Tehran was directly involved in the attack.

Since the Hamas attacks, US officials have criticized Iran, noting that it has provided support to Hamas for many years and therefore could not have been unaware of such a large-scale attack plan, effectively contributing as an "accomplice."
