Ukraine strikes Kherson: 22 dead, 15 injured

An attack by the Ukrainian army on the Russian-annexed Kherson region has left 22 people dead and 15 others injured.

Ukraine has targeted Kherson, which was annexed by Russia.

Vladimir Saldo, the governor appointed by Russia to Kherson, stated in a post on his social media account that Ukrainian forces struck a store in the village of Sadovoye twice, resulting in the deaths of 22 civilians, including 2 children, and leaving 15 people injured, 5 of them critically.

Saldo noted that a French aerial bomb was used in the first attack, while a US-made HIMARS missile was used in the second.
