Ukraine: We struck Russian ferries with ATACMS missiles
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that they struck Russian ferries with ATACMS missiles and that the operation was successful.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that it struck ferries in the Kerch Strait, which Russia uses to supply its troops in the illegally annexed Crimea, using ATACMS missiles.
In a written statement issued by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was stated that an operation was carried out against Russian ferries in the Kerch Strait.
The statement claimed that Ukrainian forces struck the ferries in the Kerch Strait, which Russia actively uses to supply its troops in Crimea, with ATACMS missiles.
"As a result of the attack, two ferries used for rail and road vehicle transport were heavily damaged. One of them ran aground, blocking the operation of the entire Kerch ferry line," the statement said, noting that thanks to the successful combat operations of Ukrainian missile units, Russia's military logistics on the Crimean peninsula have been significantly weakened.
In a separate written statement from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, it was also reported that an attack was carried out on the Russian fleet of ships and boats in Crimea using Ukrainian-made Magura V5 unmanned surface vessels.
The statement, which noted that the operation was successful, stated that two Russian "Tunets" high-speed transport landing boats were destroyed as a result of the attack.
