Automobile prices hiked in May
According to data from Cardata, many automobile brands entered May with price hikes. Price increases in many brands, primarily Mercedes-Benz, BYD, and Toyota, ranged between 2 percent and 6 percent.
Cardata General Manager Hüsamettin Yalçın announced that as of yesterday, average price increases have taken place across many automobile brands.
In a post shared on Yalçın's social media account, it was observed that the hike rates varied between 2 percent and 6 percent depending on the brand.
According to the list provided by Yalçın, the price hikes are as follows:
Mercedes-Benz: 6.1 percent
BYD: 5.9 percent
Toyota: 5.5 percent
KG Mobility: 5.4 percent
Citroën: 4.7 percent
Land Rover: 4.2 percent
Volkswagen: 4.1 percent
Skoda: 3.6 percent
DS Automobiles: 2.8 percent
Chery: 2.7 percent
Suzuki: 2.7 percent
BMW: 2.5 percent
Peugeot: 2.4 percent
Kia: 2.4 percent
Opel: 2.1 percent
Honda: 2.0 percent
