Best-selling SUV models in Turkey

SUV vehicles became the most preferred model type with 292 thousand 843 units sold. So, which are the most preferred SUV models in Turkey?

According to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), the total market for automobiles and light commercial vehicles in Turkey increased by 65.9 percent in 2023 compared to the previous year, reaching 760,782 units.

When automobile sales are evaluated by body type, SUV models were the most preferred. SUV automobiles increased their market share to 49.8 percent with a sales figure of 292 thousand 843 units.

SUV cars were followed by Sedan models with a 27.1 percent share and 159,105 units sold, and H/B cars with a 20.9 percent share and 123,034 units sold.

So, which are Turkey's most preferred SUV models? How many units did the SUV models on the list sell? According to the report on NTV, the 20 most preferred SUV models in Turkey are as follows;

20- TESLA MODEL Y

The Tesla Model Y recorded 5,500 sales.
