According to sources close to the automotive brand Mercedes-Benz, it was stated that long-serving personnel would be paid compensation exceeding 500,000 euros (approximately 20 million TL) if they voluntarily leave their jobs.

According to a report in a German newspaper, a 55-year-old team leader with 30 years of seniority and a gross monthly salary of 9,000 euros was offered more than 500,000 euros in compensation, while a 45-year-old manager with 20 years of seniority earning 7,500 euros per month was offered more than 300,000 euros.
Regarding the matter, a Mercedes-Benz spokesperson stated, "We are acting in a socially fair and responsible manner." The company has not yet made a statement regarding how many employees have accepted the offer.
