More than 31 million vehicles in Turkey are required to undergo regular inspections. The system, which began in 2007 through private sector cooperation, will continue with new business partners following the expiration of current contracts in 2027.

1 BILLION 720 MILLION DOLLAR BID

In the tender conducted by the Privatization Administration, the MOI Joint Venture Group (Met-Gün İnşaat Taahhüt ve Ticaret AŞ - Itversia Gestion S.L. - Opus Group AB - VTV Norte SA) submitted a total bid of 1 billion 720 million dollars for two regions.

830 million dollars was bid for the 1st region, and 890 million dollars for the 2nd region.

Approval from the Competition Board, the Presidency, and the Council of State is awaited for the signing of the contracts.

The share to be transferred to the public over the 20-year period will be 30% for the first 3 years, 40% for the next 7 years, and 50% for the final 10 years.

FREE CALL CENTER BEING ESTABLISHED FOR VEHICLE INSPECTION

In the new era, a free call center will be launched for citizens to handle appointment scheduling, inspection processes, and complaints.

Citizens will be able to submit their complaints and requests instantly.

The appointment system will be made easier and more accessible.

Inspection processes will be accelerated, and waiting times will be reduced.

INSPECTION FEES AND NEW SERVICES

The current automobile inspection fee is 2,620 TL, which will be updated annually based on inflation.

Inspection fee payments can be made via credit card and digital methods, with no additional commission fees charged.

In the new era, electric vehicle charging points, ATMs, and cafeterias will be added to the stations.

VEHICLE INSPECTION SERVICE AT EUROPEAN STANDARDS

Starting from 2027, a total of 249 fixed stations, 10 motorcycle stations, and 93 mobile stations will be in service across Turkey.
