Third fuel price hike! Signs updated
Volatility in the Brent crude oil market has been reflected in fuel prices. Increases have occurred in gasoline, diesel, and most recently, LPG prices. A price hike of 55 kuruş per liter was applied to LPG, marking the third increase in fuel prices within the last week.
Fuel price hikes began on Tuesday, March 24, with a 1 lira 51 kurus increase in gasoline. Immediately following this, the price per liter of diesel rose by 1 lira 30 kurus on Wednesday, March 26. Finally, a 55 kurus hike was applied to LPG.
HOW MUCH IS LPG IN ISTANBUL?
In the European side of Istanbul, the current gasoline price has been set at 46.75 TL, diesel at 46.78 TL, and LPG at 27.51 TL. On the Anatolian side, LPG is 26.74 TL.
FUEL PRICES IN ANKARA AND IZMIR
In Ankara and Izmir, gasoline and diesel prices are 47.31 TL and 47.50 TL, respectively. The price of LPG is at the 27.35 TL level.
Fuel prices may vary between provinces. Refinery exit prices, tax rates, and transportation costs are factors in these variations.
