Hybrid power for the Panamera: 670 horsepower and 3-second acceleration
Porsche has introduced the 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid versions of the new generation Panamera. Producing up to 670 horsepower with its hybrid system, the Panamera can reach 100 km/h in 3 seconds.
Porsche has announced new engine options for the new generation Panamera, which it introduced a few months ago. The 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid options, presented to delight high-performance enthusiasts, are drawing attention.
German luxury car manufacturer Porsche introduced the 2024 model Panamera at an event held in November. The new generation Panamera has a more powerful structure compared to previous models and includes some design changes. However, the vehicle's high price was also notable. Today, the company announced new engine options for the 2024 Panamera.
The 2024 model Porsche Panamera shows similarities to the previous generation in terms of design. However, due to the need for higher engine power, some changes were made to the vehicle's front grille. Additionally, matrix LED headlights will now be offered as standard. Designers did not neglect to make small touches while maintaining the overall look of the front bumper.
There are almost no changes to the rear of the new generation Porsche Panamera. Designers continue to maintain the light bar that completely covers the rear and the Porsche lettering at the bottom.
There are some changes in the interior of the 2024 Panamera. The gear lever has been moved to the right side of the steering wheel, freeing up the center console, which now houses buttons for the vehicle's climate and seat settings. In addition to the fully digital instrument cluster and multimedia screen, there is a third 10.9-inch screen. This screen will allow passengers to control the multimedia system and access information about the vehicle.
When we look at the engine specifications, we encounter impressive data. The 2.9-liter V6 engine produces 348 horsepower, while the torque value is stated as 500 Nm. It is stated that the 2024 Panamera completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5 seconds and has a maximum speed of 270 km/h. The version with all-wheel drive support completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.7 seconds and reaches the same maximum speed.
The 2024 model Panamera will not be offered with a single engine option. A more powerful version with a hybrid structure will also be available. The 4.0-liter V8 engine in the vehicle increases the total power to 670 horsepower, while the torque value is stated as 930 Nm. This engine option will complete the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3 seconds and have a maximum speed of 310 km/h.
The brand's new engine options are named 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid. The V6 engine in the 4 E-Hybrid option produces 300 horsepower on its own, while the total power increases to 463 horsepower with the hybrid system. The vehicle, which completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds, has a stated torque value of 650 Nm.
The 4S E-Hybrid version features a more powerful engine. The 348-horsepower V6 engine reaches a total of 536 horsepower with the electric motor. This engine option, which has a torque value of up to 750 Nm, completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.5 seconds, and its maximum speed is emphasized as 290 km/h.
The price of the 2024 model Porsche Panamera starts at 101,550 dollars, and the starting price for the engine options announced today has been set at 117,495 dollars. The brand announced that the new hybrid options will be available for sale towards the end of the year.
