New cars under 1.5 million TL: Options narrowed down to seven models in September 2026

For those looking to buy a new car in Turkey, the 1.5 million TL level has now become the entry step of the market. According to the current price lists for September 2026, the options remaining below this threshold are limited to five brands and seven versions.

The lowest-priced model on the list is the Kia Picanto 1.0 AMT Cool at 1,435,000 TL. The 1.0 AMT Feel version of the Picanto also falls into the same budget range with a price of 1,460,000 TL. While the Opel Corsa entered the list by dropping to 1,444,000 TL with its promotional price, the Dacia Sandero, Dacia Logan, Hyundai Inster, and Fiat Egea Sedan are also among the models remaining below the 1.5 million TL threshold.

MODELS UNDER 1.5 MILLION TL

For those wanting an automatic transmission, the most notable option is the Kia Picanto. The model uses an automated manual transmission, referred to as AMT. This system handles clutch and gear changes instead of the driver; however, the shifting character may differ from classic automatic or dual-clutch transmissions.

The 1.2-liter, 100 HP gasoline-powered Edition version of the Opel Corsa with a six-speed manual transmission has dropped to the 1,444,000 TL level thanks to a promotion. Thus, the Corsa is positioned below the Dacia Sandero and Dacia Logan in terms of price.

The Fiat Egea Sedan stands out with its body structure, which differentiates it from the small city cars on the list. Its spacious cabin, large trunk, and 130 HP 1.6 Multijet diesel engine offer significant advantages, especially for drivers who travel long distances and have high mileage. This version features a manual transmission.

On the Dacia front, the Sandero appeals to hatchback users looking for a wider cabin and trunk, while the Logan offers the same engine infrastructure with a sedan body. The Logan is on the list as one of the most affordable sedan options in Turkey with its starting price of 1,470,000 TL.

The only fully electric model on the list is the Hyundai Inster. Dropping to 1,490,000 TL with the 150,000 TL cash discount applied in September, the Inster creates an alternative, especially for users with city driving needs and regular charging access.

There are also models that slightly exceed the 1.5 million TL threshold. The Fiat Grande Panda La Prima 44 kWh Automatic is listed at 1,544,900 TL, and the Hyundai i20 1.0 T-GDI 90PS MT Jump is at the 1,555,000 TL level. The Citroen e-C3 Plus is on sale for 1,640,000 TL, and the e-C3 Max is on sale for 1,600,000 TL with a promotion.
