It has been announced that US electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has recalled 120,423 vehicles in the US due to the risk of door locks opening during a collision.
According to a report by AA, a statement from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) indicated that Tesla has released an "over-the-air" (OTA) software update, which does not require the use of cables, to resolve the issue.
Within this scope, 120,423 Model S and Model X vehicles from the 2021-2023 model years have been recalled by Tesla.
Last week, Tesla also recalled 2.03 million vehicles to address control issues in its advanced driver assistance system, known as Autopilot.
