Elon Musk announced the launch date for the long-awaited Robotaxi model in a post on the X platform.
According to a report by Webtekno, Musk, who saw his company's stock value drop following claims that Tesla had canceled a more affordable car project, stated that the news published by Reuters did not reflect the truth and was baseless.
Immediately following this statement, Musk announced when Tesla's robot taxis would be unveiled. It was reported that the Tesla Robotaxi launch will take place in August. Musk's late-night post, which included the phrase "Tesla Robotaxi unveil on 8/8," strengthened expectations that the launch will be held on August 8, 2024. Musk had previously stated that Tesla was working on an autonomous vehicle that does not have traditional controls such as a steering wheel.
