Ali Yerlikaya's operation tweets cause discomfort in AKP! He replied, 'It's not a show, it's a struggle'

Ali Yerlikaya, who was appointed as the Minister of Interior after Süleyman Soylu, makes daily routine posts on his social media account regarding the operations conducted by the ministry.

It has been alleged that these posts by Yerlikaya have caused reactions within the AKP.

"IT CREATES THE PERCEPTION IN PEOPLE'S MINDS THAT TURKEY IS TURNING INTO A MAFIA STATE"

According to reports from the corridors, AKP R&D President Mustafa Şen told Yerlikaya, "This situation creates the perception in people's minds that Turkey is turning into a mafia state." Minister Ali Yerlikaya replied to Mustafa Şen, "It's not a show, it's a struggle."

According to a report by Hürriyet, Minister Yerlikaya's refusal to accept questions from deputies during a presentation on recent operations at a meeting for the East and Southeast regions caused reactions. Upon the deputies conveying their complaints about this issue to Minister Yerlikaya, he answered the deputies' questions regarding the agenda at a subsequent meeting for the Central Anatolia and Black Sea regions.

'OVERDOSE' WARNING

AKP R&D President Mustafa Şen brought up Yerlikaya's operation tweets. Şen said, "We wake up to your operation tweets every day. This situation creates the perception in people's minds that Turkey is turning into a mafia state. It is good to communicate these efforts, but there is an overdose here. Just as it is harmful not to use medicine in health, using an overdose of medicine is just as lethal."

'NOT A SHOW, BUT A STRUGGLE'

Upon this, Yerlikaya gave the following response:

"We are not doing these to put on a show, but to demonstrate the struggle. At the end of the day, it also causes a deterrent effect. We want to instill the fear that if anyone comes from abroad to commit a crime, they will be caught immediately."

It was also claimed that AKP Artvin Deputy and former Minister Faruk Çelik said, "I know the East very well. I have traveled village by village. Sharing only security operations increases resentment among the people of the region. This is not right."
