CHP leader Özgür Özel signaled that new deputies might join the CHP during a closed-door parliamentary group meeting held after the March 31 local elections.
Following this meeting, the names of some deputies who resigned from the İYİ Party to sit as independents began to be linked to the CHP.
According to a report by Sarp Sağkal from Cumhuriyet; although names such as İzmir Deputy Ümit Özlale and Yozgat Deputy Lütfullah Kayalar were put forward, these names have not been confirmed.
According to information obtained from party sources, two new deputies will join the party at the CHP's parliamentary group meeting today.
CHP leader Özel will pin the badges on the new deputies. It is said that further additions to the CHP may occur in the coming days.
