Forest fires occurring in all corners of our country are destroying our green spaces, negatively affecting both the environment and human life.

Despite the great efforts of firefighting teams, the lost forest areas are causing serious problems in tourism and other sectors.

During this difficult process, a social media post made in 2021 by Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca, a prominent figure of the İsmailağa Order, has returned to the agenda.

Cübbeli Ahmet suggested a religious approach to fighting the fires, stating that 'takbir' (saying Allah-u Akbar) should be recited against the flames.

In his social media post, Cübbeli Ahmet cited a Hadith, expressing that fires could be extinguished by reciting the takbir. Here is that post:

Those who see the fire or watch it on social media should continue to recite the takbir, saying 'Allah-u Akbar'. The plans of the infidels cannot surpass the power of Allah.

It is stated in a Hadith: "When you see a fire, recite the takbir, for the takbir truly extinguishes it." (Ibn al-Sunni, Amalu'l Yawm, number: 289-292)
