According to a report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün; the re-nomination of Lütfü Savaş for Hatay, which has drawn public criticism, was brought to the agenda of the MYK.

It was noted that those who hold the view that “Savaş's candidacy should be withdrawn” are in the majority within the party.
