4-day work week becomes permanent at this Turkish company!

At a time when four-day work week practices are becoming widespread globally, Aksa Akrilik has become the first company in Turkey to implement this system for its office employees.

Following the success of the trials, the company decided to make the practice permanent. Aksa Akrilik, which produces acrylic fiber, has officially adopted the 'four-day work week' program it launched for its 200 white-collar employees a year ago, earning the title of the first company in Turkey to work four days a week.

According to a Bloomberg report, the company, which transitioned to a four-day work schedule without any changes to employees' salaries or social benefits, began testing the shorter work week last year with the aim of increasing operational efficiency and supporting work-life balance.
