Forbes releases list of the world's best employers: Which company from Turkey is on it?

According to a statement from the company, Koç Holding continues to successfully represent Turkey on the World's Best Employers list, which is published annually by the US-based Forbes, one of the leading publications in the business and economic world. As part of the research, over 300 thousand employees from more than 50 countries evaluated both their own companies and other companies in their respective sectors. The world's most desirable companies to work for were determined by evaluating criteria such as economic value creation, talent management, training and development opportunities, work-life balance, and gender equality.

Koç Holding was selected as the 118th best employer globally. In the statement, Koç Holding Human Resources Director Umut Günal expressed their pride in being named among the World's Best Employers for 8 consecutive years. Drawing attention to the Cultural Transformation Program they launched in 2016, Günal noted that under the leadership of Koç Holding CEO Levent Çakıroğlu, they have acted with a human-centric approach while implementing many innovations ranging from digital transformation to innovation, and from agile management to intrapreneurship.

Stating that they encourage a culture of continuous learning to equip their employees with digital competencies and prepare them for the roles of the future, Günal noted that there are more than 300 training programs specifically designed for the Koç Group in collaboration with world-renowned institutions.

'OVER 75 THOUSAND PARTICIPATIONS IN TRAININGS'

Emphasizing that purpose-driven focus and holistic well-being are also at the center of their human resources practices alongside a culture of continuous learning, Günal stated, "In the Koç Group, we are implementing many initiatives to support these concepts, ranging from social life and holistic health programs that cover not only our colleagues but also their families. In the last 3 years, there have been over 75 thousand participations in the trainings we offered. In the coming period, we will continue to offer programs that will provide our colleagues with new competencies."

Noting that they bring Koç Group employees together with many "firsts" in Turkey and the world, Günal said, "We see the results of our practices in the field of human resources in research as well as in our business results. We are proud to be Turkey's number one employer again this year in the World's Best Employers research conducted by Forbes."
