Chobani founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya stated that they are focusing on potential investment opportunities in Turkey following the sponsorship agreement made with Fenerbahçe. Speaking to Bloomberg HT, Ulukaya emphasized the importance of long-term investments in Turkey.

Ulukaya stated that he came to Istanbul at the invitation of Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç and watched a match with his wife, saying, "My love for Fenerbahçe and my fandom, which has continued since my childhood, were influential in this decision." Expressing that work on the economic dimensions of the sponsorship agreement is ongoing, Ulukaya said that Chobani could engage in new ventures or collaborations in Turkey.

Stating that US-Turkey relations are at a better point than in the past, Ulukaya said, "The tariffs applied do not affect us. We expect the work done with Europe, Japan, China, Mexico, and Canada to yield positive results." He also announced that he will continue his role as Chairman of the US-Turkey Business Council for another year and will hold meetings with the President in September.

HISTORIC AGREEMENT WITH FENERBAHÇE

Fenerbahçe Club signed an important agreement with Chobani regarding stadium naming rights and jersey sponsorship for European matches. Within the scope of the agreement, Chobani will provide stadium naming sponsorship for 10 seasons in exchange for 10 million euros each year. In addition, it will undertake jersey chest sponsorship for European matches for 5 seasons.

Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç, Secretary General Burak Çağlan Kızılhan, Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya, and other officials attended the press conference held at Chobani Stadium. Ulukaya stated that this agreement will ensure Chobani has more visibility through football.

Emphasizing that investing in Turkey is important both economically and personally, Ulukaya said, "Being in Turkey and investing in the long term will definitely be a successful venture." Inviting all Turkish businesspeople to invest in Turkey, Ulukaya expressed his belief that the trade volume with the US could reach 100 billion dollars.
