High-level appointment at LC Waikiki

LC Waikiki has made a significant appointment in its human resources department. Bahattin Aydın, who has over 25 years of experience in human resources and leadership, has started his role as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of LC Waikiki.

WHO IS BAHATTİN AYDIN?

After graduating from the Department of Psychology at Boğaziçi University in 1997, Bahattin Aydın began his career the same year as a Human Resources Manager at UPS. In 1998, he joined Yıldız Holding, where he held management positions in various areas such as recruitment and international operations. Between 2010 and 2014, he served as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Avea, and subsequently played a key role in the company's integration processes as the Head of Human Resources at Türk Telekom.

Returning to Yıldız Holding in 2017 to serve as the President of People and Business Support, Aydın held this position until 2025. Throughout his career, he has been ranked among Turkey's most prestigious human resources leaders and has successfully made it onto the lists of the 50 Most Innovative HR Leaders, 50 Most Powerful HR Leaders, and 50 Most Effective CHROs.

Aydın, who has participated in leadership and human resources management programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD, also holds a professional coaching certificate from the Coaching Training Institute (CTI). Having completed the Action Research and Transformation Master's Program at Sabancı University, Aydın will lead human resources strategies to support the brand in achieving its global growth targets in his new role at LC Waikiki, while also focusing on areas such as employee satisfaction, talent management, and organizational transformation.
