Santa Farma İlaç appoints Canan Yılmaz as Director of Strategic Planning

Santa Farma İlaç, one of Turkey's most established pharmaceutical companies with over 80 years of industry experience, has appointed Canan Yılmaz as its Director of Strategic Planning.

Providing innovative solutions aimed at strengthening human health and quality of life, the domestic pharmaceutical company Santa Farma İlaç has taken an important step toward reinforcing its strategic goals by appointing Canan Yılmaz to the position of Director of Strategic Planning. With her expertise and leadership experience, Yılmaz will play a key role in Santa Farma İlaç's future-oriented projects.

WHO IS CANAN YILMAZ?

Graduating from the METU Department of Business Administration in 1997, Canan Yılmaz began her career at the global consulting firm Arthur Andersen. She subsequently held various roles across different sectors and positions, including Project Office and Quality Manager at Aria and Avea, Strategy and Planning Manager at Yıldız Holding, Senior Manager in the Consulting Services Department at EY Turkey, and Business Excellence Department Manager and CEO Advisor at Enerjisa. During her time at Enerjisa, Yılmaz also completed the 'Future Forums' Marketing Program developed by Sabancı University and Sabancı Holding.

Between 2020 and 2023, Yılmaz managed strategy and corporate development projects for organizations she served through her own consulting firm, Core Elements, which she founded. From 2023 to 2024, she served as Group Strategy Director at Yıldırım Holding.

Canan Yılmaz began her role as Director of Strategic Planning at Santa Farma İlaç as of January 2025.
