Güler Sabancı will continue her roles in key positions such as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Sabancı Foundation, Founding Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Sabancı University, and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sakıp Sabancı Museum.

HAYRİ ÇULHACI WILL REPLACE HER

Following Güler Sabancı, who has been at the helm of the Holding for 21 years, Hayri Çulhacı will take over the position following the Ordinary General Assembly to be held on March 27.

HAS A KAP ANNOUNCEMENT BEEN MADE?

The change in leadership at Sabancı Holding was announced via a Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) statement. The statement released by the Holding is as follows:

"Ms. Güler Sabancı, who was elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of H.Ö. Sabancı Holding A.Ş. following Sakıp Sabancı in 2004, will leave her position and step down from the Board of Directors as of the Company's Ordinary General Assembly to be held on March 27, 2025.

It is planned that Mr. Hayri Çulhacı, who currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors, will become the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding, following the Board of Directors election and distribution of duties to be held at the General Assembly.

Mr. Hayri Çulhacı has been with the Sabancı Group for approximately 35 years and has served as a member of the Executive Committee at Sabancı Holding, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Akbank, and as a member of the Board of Directors at Sabancı Holding and its subsidiaries.

Ms. Güler Sabancı will continue her duties as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Sabancı Foundation, Founding Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Sabancı University, and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sakıp Sabancı Museum."

WHO IS HAYRİ ÇULHACI?

Hayri Çulhacı completed his undergraduate studies at the Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences and later received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northeastern University in the USA. Çulhacı, who began his career in 1979 as an Account Specialist, moved to the position of Executive Vice President at Akbank in 1990. Since 2009, he has served as an Executive Board Member at the same bank. Çulhacı will become the Chairman of the Board of Directors following the Sabancı Holding Ordinary General Assembly to be held on March 27, 2025.
