'World's Best Companies' list announced: Which companies from Turkey are included?

'World's Best Companies' list announced: Which companies from Turkey are included?

The "World's Best Companies – 2024" list, prepared by Time Magazine, one of the world's most respected media platforms in the fields of global politics and economics, in collaboration with Statista, has been published. Sabancı Holding, which succeeded in entering the top 500 companies and represents the Turkish business world as the leader, ranked 405th with an overall score of 87.78.

Three main factors were taken into account in the creation of the list: employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and ESG performance.

Under the ESG (environmental, social, governance) heading, it drew attention particularly with its environmental sensitivity, the ratio of women on the board of directors, and its sustainability goals.

The fact that 44 percent of the company's board members are women was considered a success story cited as an example worldwide.

Sabancı Holding CEO Cenk Alper stated that the success is not limited to financial statements and that they also place great importance on sustainability and employee satisfaction.

Alper expressed that it is gratifying for the company's cultural and operational transformation to be appreciated on a global scale.

Other companies from Turkey that made the list were Koç Holding, which ranked 499th, Akbank at 820th, and Enka İnşaat ve Sanayi at 887th.
