X CEO Linda Yaccarino has stepped down
X CEO Linda Yaccarino has announced her resignation after a two-year tenure. This development comes at a time when X's AI chatbot, Grok, is in the spotlight due to controversial content.
Linda Yaccarino, CEO of the company X, owned by Elon Musk, has announced that she is stepping down from the position she has held for two years.
Yaccarino announced this decision in a post on the X platform.
Yaccarino stated, "After two wonderful years, I have decided to step down as CEO. When I first discussed the vision for X with Elon Musk, I knew this mission was the opportunity of a lifetime. I am grateful to him for entrusting me with the responsibility of protecting free speech and transforming X into an 'everything app'."
In addition to these developments, X's AI chatbot, Grok, is drawing attention for its use of profanity and hate speech.
It was reported from Grok's official account that efforts are underway to remove inappropriate posts.
An investigation into these posts has also been launched in Turkey. It is reported that Grok has provided profane responses to some users worldwide and praised Adolf Hitler in one post. Cyber rights expert Yaman Akdeniz stated that Turkey is the first country to impose censorship on Grok.
