Özgür Özel has exhausted the CHP electorate!

What is Özgür Özel aiming for by talking nonsense every single day since the March 31 elections in a way that makes one long for the previous day? There are various rumors, but CHP members have become terribly exhausted over the past seven months because of this.

What is interesting is that he does not see that his actions, deeds, and words have almost no resonance with the people of our country, and he persistently and stubbornly refuses to acknowledge this.

It is clear that he has constructed a narrative in his mind and has become a true believer in it.

We do not know exactly what it is.

Whether anyone within the CHP knows is also a mystery.

If they brought a first-year student from the School of Political Sciences (Mekteb-i Mülkiye) and made them the Chairman of the CHP, they would read current developments much better and determine much better political strategies.

With his irreparable mistakes, he is weakening the CHP and increasing the hopelessness among the voters.

His party's ideology and principles have become blurred; the red lines based on the founding philosophy have faded. He is drifting further and further away.

He lacks knowledge, he lacks experience, and he cannot analyze what is happening.

While he should be a chess player, he is chasing a ping-pong ball. Even when he cannot play that, he hits it as it comes and waits, saying, "Let's see what happens."

Recently, I asked an old CHP friend, "Has he not learned any lessons from Turkey's recent political history?"

He said, "To learn a lesson, one must first read and study."

The situation is truly dire!

Let's say he cannot determine a strategy; can he not even do the math?

Did he never think that Tayyip would pull out the trustee stick while talking about softening, normalization, and warming up!

For instance, could he not calculate that the government could strike such a blow to the timid alliance made with the DEM party members in Esenyurt by calling it a "city consensus"!

Everyone knows that Tayyip has made it a hobby to beat the CHP through the DEM party.

With the situation as it is, did Özgür Özel and his advisors never do any contingency planning?

Yet, instead of running around like a wedding drummer or a funeral mourner and trying to please everyone, if he had listened to the sycophants pontificating on pro-government channels, he would have known how and when the government would use the trustee stick six months in advance.

It is possible to explain what he has done up to this point as incompetence to some extent.

But afterwards, things go beyond incompetence.

After the local elections, we suddenly saw that Özgür Özel had begun to swim in the murky waters of identity politics.

The "virus of ethnicism," which it is unclear how he caught, has taken his mind captive.

Let us underline this with a thick pen!

Opposing the government's policy of appointing trustees "on principle" because it ignores the will of the people, is unlawful, and tramples on justice is one thing; taking a stance using the language of the DEM party for the sake of a few Kurdish votes is another!

Let us write it openly without mincing words: Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer is a member of the DEM party. Like every DEM party member, he conducts politics under the umbrella of the PKK. Criticize the illegality here, emphasize that such practices have no place in a democracy, say that it is an indicator that the government is becoming increasingly authoritarian, say "Give up this excuse of 'affiliation'" and so on; but do not try to legitimize the politics that the PKK conducts through the DEM party. Do not carry water to the mill of the Kurdish nationalists!

After the mayors of Mardin, Batman, and Halfeti were removed from office, he ranted and raved on his social media account in his own way.

He said, "This morning, trustees were appointed to two more elected mayors, along with Ahmet Türk, one of the most important names in political dialogue who comes to mind when peace is mentioned in Turkey. We are dealing with a shameless, brazen impudence that has learned no lessons from what has been happening for days, pays no heed to what is said, seizes municipalities it could not win in the elections, and dares to remove politicians it cannot 'reform' through a coup. I am warning you, the time for words is almost over. Whatever is necessary to fight this evil will be done."

Let's not say, "Is it your place to sing praises to Ahmet Türk, who blows the PKK's trumpet at every opportunity?" but let us not pass without asking, "Since the time for words is over, what will you do now?"

- What good is it if you are tough!

Tayyip, after reading this statement by Özgür Özel, most likely thought exactly that.

He knows very well that no matter how much he beats him politically, when he calls him, he will stand at attention, pose smiling in front of the cameras, and try to please him again by talking about softening and warming up.

Is he aware, but he has lost his credit with the CHP base at a great speed.

His credibility is almost gone.

He cannot command his deputies or mayors. Except for a few sycophants, no one cares about him.

For example, the rally he organized for Esenyurt was a flop. Even though it was supported by the DEM party, the area did not fill up, and even if it had, there was no such wind of excitement blowing.

He does not understand that people voted for the CHP out of desperation. Instead of being a source of hope, he is feeding their desperation.

He is trying to load the DEM party members, PKK supporters, and Kurdish nationalists onto his back and force this upon those who voted for the CHP out of necessity.

He does not want to see that the base that will carry him to power hates the PKK and its derivatives.

There is such great anger among the people that he will almost melt away within this anger.

He is constantly fueling the belief that "nothing will come of these people."

In short, it is crystal clear that there is a very serious leadership problem in the CHP. After all, the country's founding party needs a new name that is compatible with the founding philosophy and will be a source of hope for the masses.

But unfortunately, the display window is mostly filled with "project children."

Let us end our article by saying that until this problem is solved, Turkey cannot get out of the quagmire it has fallen into; and as long as the CHP cannot escape from the hands of those who are not CHP members, the political Islamist government will not leave the country's head for sixty years.
