Who gave them the audacity to question Lausanne?

The PKK has decided to lay down its arms and dissolve itself in compliance with Abdullah Öcalan's call. It is clear that the negotiations conducted quietly between the government and the DEM Party have reached a conclusion.

Even though they try to push the narrative of a "Turkey without terror" or a "peace process" onto the people of this country, everyone who follows politics even from the sidelines knows the purpose of the theater being played out.

A constitutional amendment will be made to ensure that Tayyip Erdoğan remains in that seat until his time comes; in return, the voluntary collaborators of imperialism and the Kurdish nationalists will be made partners in the title deed of the country.

Everything else is just a fairy tale...

The PKK has never felt the need to hide this anyway.

They have openly shown the audacity to question Turkey's founding document, the Treaty of Lausanne:

“Leader Apo, taking as a reference the period before the Treaty of Lausanne and the 1924 Constitution, where Kurdish-Turkish relations became problematic, has adopted the perspective of a Democratic Republic of Turkey—where the Common Homeland and the Kurdish and Turkish peoples are founding elements—and the concept of a Democratic Nation as the framework for the resolution of the Kurdish question. The Kurdish uprisings throughout the history of the Republic, the 1,000-year historical dialectic of Kurdish-Turkish relations, and the 52-year struggle of the Leadership have shown that the Kurdish question can only be resolved on the basis of a Common Homeland and Equal Citizenship. Current developments in the Middle East within the scope of World War III also make it inevitable to reorganize Kurdish-Turkish relations.”

While the government was telling the people of this country that no negotiations were taking place and that there were no conditions on the table, the PKK announced that the ultimate negotiation had taken place and that they had brought forward a series of conditions that would eliminate Turkey's political unity and territorial integrity.

Without hesitation, they said, you will make us partners in the title deed of the country.

Will the government accept this?

Of course they will, let no one have any doubts. As long as a constitutional amendment is made that secures Tayyip Erdoğan's seat.

In fact, the destruction of the nation-state as the PKK desires, and the establishment of a new order on an ethnic and religious basis, would be a perfect fit for the neo-Hamidian regime they are trying to perfect.

The Palace's tall, slender mouthpiece has also fired the signal flare by saying, “A new era will now begin in every respect. The paradigm will change. The parameters of the new era will be different.”

It is not just the government; unfortunately, Özgür Özel, in whom millions have placed their hopes, is also eager for this. Judging by his speech in Van, he is practically dying to be a part of this process of betrayal.

Knowing this, they have left the ball in the lap of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) by saying, “We call on all political parties represented in the parliament, especially the government and the main opposition party, as well as civil society organizations, religious and faith communities, democratic press organizations, opinion leaders, intellectuals, academics, artists, labor and trade unions, women's and youth organizations, and ecological movements to take responsibility and participate in the process of peace and a democratic society.”

They are essentially telling Özgür Özel: It is not enough to shout until your throat is sore at rallies; if that is the case, support the regulations that will come to the Parliament.

In short, let's move past Özgür Özel; he has already shown his true colors, but there is a historic test ahead for the CHP and its members!

We will all see together whether they can protect the Atatürk Republic, the founding principles, the nation-state, and Turkey's political unity and territorial integrity.

Naturally, this statement changed the agenda.

Government mouthpieces and embarrassed opposition figures began to pontificate on news channels and social media, saying, “The PKK laying down its arms and dissolving itself is an important decision.”

However, when we look at the statement made, the reality is not at all as the palace-fed trolls and the so-called opposition crowd—who appear to be on the side of justice but are actually carrying water to the mill of political Islamists—are trying to feed the people of this country.

Anyone who can read and write can understand what the following sentence in the statement means!

“The PKK's Extraordinary 12th Congress evaluated that the PKK's struggle has shattered the policy of denial and annihilation against our people, brought the Kurdish question to the point of resolution through democratic politics, and in this respect, the PKK has completed its historical mission.”

In other words, they are practically shouting a victory cry.

Then, they delivered what they consider their masterstroke with the sentence: “On this basis, the PKK's 12th Congress has decided to dissolve the organizational structure of the PKK and end the method of armed struggle, with the process of implementation to be managed and conducted by Leader APO, and has terminated the activities carried out under the name of the PKK.”

Let us not get hung up on these fancy expressions.

In essence, they are implying: “From now on, the political process will be managed by Öcalan; for now, we are shelving the name PKK, but we reserve the right to operate under other names.”

If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you...

The PKK laying down its arms and dissolving itself will certainly not eliminate the threat to Turkey.

Because there is the KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union), which was established by Abdullah Öcalan himself.

The YPG in Syria, PJAK in Iran, and PÇDK in Iraq operate under this umbrella organization. Its ultimate goal is to unite these four geographical parts for a “Greater Kurdistan” and continue to serve as the voluntary servants of imperialism in the Middle East.

The fact that an autonomous region governed by the YPG-PYD has been established in northern Syria, following Iraq, shows that they are advancing step by step.

No one has abandoned their ultimate goal.

The mere disappearance of the PKK means nothing in practice, and the “new paradigm” will leave Turkey facing a very serious existential issue. Let us end our article by stating that this truth is as clear as day.
