So, what will the CHP do now?

In its long political journey stretching from 1961 to the present, the Republican People's Party (CHP) has seen coups, been shut down, reopened, lost elections, won elections, and paid heavy political prices. It has made mistakes, fallen short, and at times failed to accurately read the nation's expectations. All of these are the natural accounting of political history.

However, throughout this long history, there has been one truth etched into the institutional memory of the Republican People's Party.

The party's name has never been associated with corruption, theft, bribery, or extortion.

Its political choices have been criticized.

Its leaders have been debated.

Its programs have been liked or disliked.

However, the institutional identity of the Republican People's Party has not been seen as an address for those who reach for public property or those who put their personal interests ahead of the nation's interests.

This is exactly where we need to return today.

Because the greatest capital of politics is not just votes.

It is trust.

The Republican People's Party will first hold its head high.

Then it will purify itself.

Purification is not just about purging individuals.

Purification is about reuniting the language, methods, and morality of politics with the founding values of the Republic.

It is about staying away from every image that wounds the nation's conscience.

It is about defending the same standard for everyone before the law.

No matter who they are or what position they hold, it is about not standing behind any behavior that damages the public conscience.

Because the greatest strength of the Republican People's Party is not its positions, but its principles.

Today, Turkey's need is not new slogans.

It is a new climate of trust.

For the economy to get back on its feet, there is a need for a production-oriented development model.

Industry must be replanned.

Agriculture must be handled again as a matter of national security.

The producing farmer must be supported, the entrepreneurship of the youth must be encouraged, and the value of labor must be protected against inflation.

The tax system must be saved from an approach that leaves the burden on the shoulders of low-income earners.

The state must become a strong institution that paves the way for the citizen, not a burden on their back.

The Republican People's Party must revive the social state.

No child should have to give up their education due to poverty.

No young person should have to look for their hope in other countries.

No retiree should be left to struggle with the cost of living after years of work.

No woman should have to give up her dreams due to inequality of opportunity.

However, none of these can be achieved with promises alone.

The Republican People's Party must first establish meritocracy within itself.

In party management, municipalities, and organizations, the choice between competence and loyalty must always be made in favor of competence.

Positions should be given based on qualifications, not proximity.

This is the greatest legacy of the cadres who founded the Republic.

From the district president to the neighborhood representative, everyone should be able to feel like an essential element of this great march.

Politics should be conducted with the collective wisdom of millions, not a few individuals.

A new century lies ahead for Turkey.

In this century, the Republican People's Party must present an approach that not only opposes but produces solutions; that not only criticizes but gives hope; that not only tells of the past but builds the future.

And the way to do this is very clear.

Clean politics…

Transparent management…

Meritocracy…

Production economy…

Social justice…

Rule of law…

Democracy…

And most importantly; reclaiming the founding morality of the Republic…

The Republican People's Party must first establish its power in its own conscience.

Because no government that cannot be established in the conscience can be permanent at the ballot box.

What needs to be done today is not to fight with the burden of the past, but to turn a new page by drawing strength from the past.

We will hold our heads high again.

We will entrust ourselves to the nation's conscience again.

We will purify.

We will unite.

We will produce.

And we will crown the second century of the Republic with a strong understanding of social democracy that revives its founding values.

Because the true power of the Republican People's Party is not just winning elections; it is winning the trust of the nation again...
