The Process: Perceptions and Facts

We are moving through a PROCESS where politics is driven by perception operations and facts are hidden from our nation.

Where is this BARGAINING heading, in which the terrorist leader has declared himself the 'chief negotiator' and Bahçeli has raised the stakes by promoting him to the status of 'Founding Leader'?

What is Öcalan FOUNDING?  What is being hidden from the nation?

Shall we compare perceptions with facts?

PERCEPTION 1. Öcalan has accepted that the PKK will lay down its arms and dissolve itself.

FACT 1. (Imrali Records)  Ocalan "Let a group come to Sulaymaniyah with their weapons,  those who have health problems.  They need to be persuaded to come... Then they can arm themselves again. Is there anyone stopping them?" If the requirements are not met, a meeting will be held in the second week. They will go back to the mountains."

The result: 30 sick terrorists staged a disarmament show, but the PKK did not make a decision to "disarm." Because the PKK's disarmament was tied to certain conditions at the negotiating table, or in Ocalan's words, to "the requirements being met."  it was intended to be linked.

In fact, the opposite happened; PKK attacks continued and were hidden from the Turkish nation.

Had the PKK been liquidated? Certainly not! Let us explain this with Öcalan's own words;

"Instead of an organization that has completed its term, we will now USE THE NAME DEMOCRATIC CONFEDERATION OF COMMUNES (KDKB). What is communalism? How are communes established? How many communes are needed? You will work day and night... It is up to you to develop this. (Addressing the DEM İmralı delegation)"  What is communalism? How are communes established? How many communes are needed? You will work day and night... It is up to you to develop this. (Addressing the DEM İmralı delegation)"

State officials and the government knew this. It was the Turkish nation that was being deceived.

PERCEPTION 2. In his statement at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) on October 22, Devlet Bahçeli had told Öcalan, 'Let him unilaterally declare that his organization will be liquidated.'

FACT 2. The matter had been placed on the negotiating table.  Preconditions had been established by Öcalan/DEM/PKK.

It was the Turkish nation that was being deceived.

PERCEPTION 3.On May 12, 2025, the PKK Congress announced that the PKK  has laid down its arms  and has dissolved itself.

FACT 3.The Congress Announcement  contains an insolent and aggressive tone targeting all the founding values of the Republic of Turkey and began with the following words:

“Our party, the PKK, emerged on the stage of history as our people's freedom movement against the Kurdish denial and annihilation movement, which draws its source from the Treaty of Lausanne and the 1924 Constitution... It was shaped under conditions where rigid Kurdish denial and the politics of annihilation based on it, as well as policies of genocide and assimilation, were dominant. ...

Leader Apo adopted the PERSPECTIVE OF A DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF TURKEY, WHERE THE COMMON HOMELAND AND THE KURDISH-TURKISH PEOPLES ARE FOUNDING ELEMENTS, as the framework for the resolution of the Kurdish issue, by referencing the period BEFORE the Treaty of Lausanne and the 1924 Constitution, where Kurdish-Turkish relations became problematic.

The Kurdish rebellions that have occurred throughout the history of the Republic, the thousand-year historical dialectic of Kurdish-Turkish relations, and the fifty-two-year struggle for leadership have shown that the Kurdish issue can only be resolved on the basis of a COMMON HOMELAND AND EQUAL CITIZENSHIP and that this will be beneficial...

It is of vital importance for our people to form their OWN ORGANIZATIONS in every area of life, to organize on the basis of self-sufficiency with their LANGUAGES, IDENTITIES, and CULTURES, to become capable of defending themselves against attacks, and to BUILD A COMMUNAL DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY...”

Öcalan was happy with the success of the process and expressed that he had achieved his most important goal with the following words:

(Imralı records) Öcalan; In other words, has 'Kurd' become synonymous with 'PKK'? That, too, is significant, and a successful identity relationship has been established. Consciousness of existence has been acquired and gained... Termination is not an end, but a transition to a new process of organization and struggle. The new struggle process is not war, but peace; not a nation-state, but the construction of a democratic society.”

Thus, Öcalan was declaring that he had demolished the state's understanding, maintained for years, regarding the dissociation of Kurdish citizens from PKK terrorism.

It was understood why Apo was a 'founding leader' and what he was founding, but the Nation was unaware of this.

The result: A new shroud is being tailored for Turkey, and the Turkish Nation is being deceived.

PERCEPTION 4.  Peace - Brotherhood - A Turkey Without Terrorism

The greatest and most undeniable perception operation,  is the name given to the process. In a society where there is not a single person who would reject this and express a desire for terror, threat mechanisms were also activated against those who criticized the process. This was the sharpest method to silence a nation that has spent the last 40 years under fear and threat and has lost tens of thousands of its children.

While the nation was being lulled to sleep with a  “win/win” policy, the process was being carried out.

FACT 4.  What was demanded in exchange for so-called peace?

(Imrali minutes) Öcalan; “Turkey is very afraid of a federation. I am deliberately not saying 'autonomy,' I am saying local democracy. But this is autonomy everywhere in the world. The London example is like this, it is important. Apart from the elected mayor, there is no governor. Local police and local structures are affiliated with the municipality. WE WILL DRAW A DEMOCRACY FRAMEWORK LIKE THIS IN TURKEY AS WELL.”

“We will integrate the Republic of Turkey with democratic politics… The state needs to confront us with such a transformation. We need to integrate the Kurds into the republic not as a federated, regional, or cultural category, but as a ‘democratic society’ category.

There are four nation-states directly related to Kurdistan. WE WILL INTEGRATE THROUGH AN APPROACH BASED ON INTEGRATION WITH FOUR STATES.”

These four states mentioned by Öcalan are;  Iraq, Syria, Iran, and TURKEY.

The goal is very clearly evident. The path toward a Greater Kurdistan has begun to be taken.

The term “democratic society” , "integration" and "local democracy" The meanings contained within the concepts of autonomy in Turkey, ethnically defined citizenship, the changing definition of the Nation, the replacement of the Nation-State with a Federation, the construction of a communal society, and the disappearance of the Turkish Nation from history. A Nation-State with a single identity and a single official language has never been part of Öcalan's project. In fact, Öcalan even found a new name for the Republic of Turkey; "Democratic Republic of Turkey!"

He emphasized repeatedly in the minutes that he would never take a step back on these issues, and that education in the mother tongue would happen regardless.

In light of the key concepts above, shall we take a look at the reflections of the truths hidden from our nation in the February 18, 2026 report of the TBMM National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission?

Section 6 of the report: “Strengthening social cohesion does not mean shaping individuals around a single type of thought and identity... social cohesion is strengthened in a structure where pluralism is protected and political competition is maintained.”

“In the reports they submitted to the commission, political parties that included proposals for 'integration' or 'unification' laws were simultaneously have pointed out that a healthy solution could emerge along with steps toward democratization.”

No matter how much the report tries to hide it, the picture is clear.

First, let us ask: what is meant by a single-type identity?  In Turkey, there is no one saying to a Kurd, “You are a Turk.” However, according to the definition  stated in Article 66 of the Constitution, “Everyone bound to the Turkish State by the bond of citizenship is a Turk.” Every citizen receives a Republic of Turkey identity card. Is the purpose of this objection to a single-type identity a preparation for paving the way for different ethnic identities in the new Constitution?

It is necessary to focus on the concept of "integration" emphasized in the report. According to the TDK (Turkish Language Association) definition, integration is;  the process of coming together to form a whole, or ensuring that different systems and applications work within a common structure.

Kurdish-origin citizens who have lived in Turkey for centuries and hold Turkish citizenship have no need for integration. They continue to take part in every profession and position regardless of their ethnic identity. They are equal before the law. There have been examples of rising to the Presidency in politics.

In that case, who is the target of this integration? It is clear that it is not the Kurds who are Turkish citizens.

Is the target the Kurds living in regional Kurdish administrations that have declared their autonomy outside Turkey's borders?

The button has been pressed for Turkey to become the state of all Kurds. Demirtaş's statement;

"Kurds are first-class citizens of the Republic of Turkey with their own identities, languages, and cultures, THE OWNERS" will be” after saying “a foundation for integration must be created on the basis of citizenship” it is clear that this statement  does not include the Kurds, who are already citizens of the Turkish State.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, on the other hand,  “We are promising a state to the Kurds” did he limit his call with these words only to the Kurds who have lived in the Turkish State for centuries?

Why has the People's Alliance,  for a terrorist organization that has lost its former power, been defeated by the Turkish Army, pushed beyond our borders, or in Öcalan's words, “has expired,” put the founding values of the Republic of Turkey on the bargaining table by declaring Öcalan a “peace dove”?

Attributing this picture to Kurdish votes and the election is a very simplistic approach.

The bigger carrot is in the bag!

The US-originated, PKK-supported Greater Middle East Project has recently been reactivated with the Ottoman Provincial System Model.

What is the "Turkey Model" that is constantly emphasized in the Turkish Grand National Assembly Commission Report?

THE TURKEY MODEL: TURKEY WILL GROW

Öcalan has emphasized change since the beginning of the process.

"The PKK and the Kurds will change, the Republic of Turkey will change, the environment in Turkey will change, and the MIDDLE EAST and the WHOLE WORLD WILL CHANGE."

It is necessary to reflect on the background of the change in this message.

Or is the Ottoman Millet System project, which Tom Barrack constantly emphasizes, being presented as the "Turkey Model"?

Barrack, regarding Turkey, with the words “Turkey could be the central point for these”  emphasizes that Turkey is the leading country in the region.

When Trump’s exaggerated praise for Erdoğan and the Turkish Armed Forces is also taken into account, there is no doubt that Turkey is being pointed to as the most powerful country in the Middle East.

As for Öcalan,  during the days he was captured, he spoke of creating a Kurdistan under Turkey’s guardianship and “adding another Turkey to Turkey.” had mentioned.

It is clear that Öcalan, who frequently voices the definition of a four-part Kurdistan, assigns a privileged role to Turkey as the country with the largest Kurdish population outside of Syria, Iraq, and Iran.

It is known that Kurdish regions exist in all of these countries, but they are located in different geographies.

However, it must be taken into account that the Kurdistan Regional Government in Northern Iraq, Iranian Kurdistan (defined as Eastern Kurdistan and consisting of the provinces of Kurdistan, Kermanshah, West Azerbaijan, Hamadan, and Ilam), and the region in Northern Syria known as Rojava, which is linked to the reshaped YPG, share borders with Turkey.  All of these countries are oil-rich nations.

Öcalan's  in the 2025 Imralı transcripts “that the opening alliance would add Turkey to Turkey and that wealth would flow into Turkey”  is not without reason.

In the project of reshaping the Middle East,  preparations are being made for a Kurdistan under Turkey's patronage.

The gradual establishment of a Kurdish state under Turkey's patronage, the expansion of geographical borders, and access to oil fields,  Could there not be a valid reason for those who dream of Neo-Ottomanism to elevate Öcalan from a 'Baby Killer' to a  'Founding Leadership'?

If the 'Turkey Model,' which is brought to the agenda with a 'Turkey without terrorism' and frequently used in the TBMM Commission Report, is realized, Turkey will first grow, and then, with the establishment of an Independent Greater Kurdistan,  it will undoubtedly shrink.

Now is the time to focus attention on the "New Constitution Process," which will form the first step of the newly constructed model.

How much we are in need of a political stance that gives up on opportunism and an opposition approach that will uphold Atatürk's "Turkey Model"!
