July 15 is approaching

Articles for the approaching July 15 are starting to appear slowly.

I, too, shall write a situational piece.

Following that, I have also prepared a memoir regarding the exam questions in particular.

The FETÖ terrorist organization, which has been a plague upon us for years, has not remained idle even after the coup attempt it staged.

Without accounting for the rituals at their funeral ceremonies that are contrary to Islam and Muslim faith, they still defend their so-called Muslim but essentially apostate leaders and question the Turkish State.

Especially on social media, they continue their chatter shamelessly and unabashedly, as if they were not responsible for or guilty of July 15.

They think that with the crypto-members remaining within the state, there might perhaps be another chance to destroy the Turkish State.

As the saying goes, "The market in Bor has passed, ride your donkey to Niğde," which applies to these situations.

The Turkish State buried a terrorist organization like the PKK into the depths of caves; it was late and difficult, but not impossible, to bury FETÖ into the Pennsylvania pit at the bottom of the Atlantic.

The so-called Muslim but essentially traitorous FETÖ organization, which incubated under the shadow of the Cold War, lived in wealth without creating any economic value—like a freeloader—and established 17 universities and hundreds of high schools by plundering the public and exploiting the religious sentiments of citizens, drew its sword too early despite having a significant base among the pure people of Anatolia.

If they had watched the final scene of Mel Gibson's Braveheart, they would have been more professional regarding the timing of drawing their swords, or if they had taken lessons from the strategies in the film Valkyrie starring Tom Cruise.

Clearly, they trusted the commanders they infiltrated into the military too much; if they had asked me, I would have told them not to.

For I had known these fake-starred so-called commanders while serving as a second lieutenant at the General Staff.

Because they rose by stealing exam questions, it was evident even in the mess hall line that they were so amateur and incompetent that they would not know what to do when faced with a real situation.

Even though they thought they were skilled at hiding themselves, even those of us doing limited-term military service were aware of FETÖ's toy soldiers.

In fact, some commanders who were not so-called but genuine Turkish Commanders would not salute the FETÖist commanders; they would ignore them, that is, disregard and treat them as non-existent.

While President Erdoğan, who convinced and persuaded the public that FETÖ is an intelligence and armed terrorist organization, deserves appreciation, our people may not always find an Erdoğan.

One might wake up one morning suddenly without a state.
